Middle of the Week

Took Hannah on Tuesday morning for blood tests they are testing her for Diabetes and to see if she has this disease that makes her allergic to wheat - I forget the name. We go see the doctor next Thursday to get the results. She was home on Monday with stomach issues and woke up with them this morning but was able to go to school. I could just be a virus - who knows. Still have her off of Milk products until we can figure this thing out. Heading to Kelowna next week Mon to Wed for an education seminar for work - should be fun. Corey and I are going to go to Victoria on Sunday for the night and have the girls stay with Christy because I fly out early Monday morning and we get a night away alone.
Need to get back to work. Have fun!!

It's Friday

Another weekend and we were hoping to go out in the boat overnight tonight but unfortunately the weather is not agreeing with us, so we will have to try tomorrow. Kaylie had her track meet yesterday and did well, she was competing against kids a year older than her so needless to say she didn't make it to districts but was very happy with her performance. I was at work and went to watch her, of course running late I got there just before she did her first throw, it was so cute when she saw me her whole face lite up made me feel great. She really tried hard and did well. Kaylie is also doing a soccer clinic with some one on one training that is going very well, she is quite a good player and finally has someone to challenge her and give her more guidance on her skills. Poor Hannah would of loved to do the same unfortunately she was to young. Hannah is doing well in gymnastics - quite flexible and good balance - nothing like her mother. I think we are going to concentrate on getting the house ready to put on the market this weekend - I have to paint the spare room and go through the girls rooms and purge - Hannah loves to clean and purge and Kaylie - not so much, but she can usually convince her sister to help her. Josee have fun on your weekend - where are you doing the scrap book marathon? Annie are you going?

I did it!!

Thank you Annie for setting this up for me because you know I wouldn't do it myself. Kaylie is getting all trained up she made it to the Zone from her school track meet for softball throw(who new this was a track and field sport) and long jump - she is very excited, I was giving her my expert opinion - I'm sure it will help.

We think Hannah may be lactose intolerant so she hasn't had had any milk products in a week and some of her symptoms have gone - we are going to slowly introduce things back into her diet and see how it goes. Hannah had a field trip yesterday to a pond here in Nanaimo to look at wild life and I was scheduled to go with her until I found out I had meetings at work that I couldn't reschedule - she cried when I told her, I felt and still feel like the worst Mother.

Anyhow back to work I go.
